Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Jaipur — Pink City
Private airport transfer to your heritage hotel. Afternoon guided tour of the City Palace — royal residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, with its stunning collection of art and textiles. Visit Jantar Mantar, the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world (UNESCO).
Jodhpur — The Blue City
Drive to the Blue City (5 hrs). The colossal Mehrangarh Fort looms 120 metres above the city — your guide brings its history to life. Below the fort, the old city's blue-washed houses spread out like a tapestry. Visit Jaswant Thada, the elegant marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh.
Udaipur — City of Lakes
Drive to the romantic City of Lakes (4 hrs). Guided tour of the City Palace — the largest palace complex in Rajasthan — with its panoramic views over Lake Pichola. Afternoon sunset boat ride on the lake past the iconic Lake Palace (now a hotel) and Jag Mandir island.
Jaisalmer — The Golden City
Drive across the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer (4.5 hrs) — a city of golden sandstone that seems to glow at dusk. Guided walk inside the living Jaisalmer Fort (UNESCO) and visit the ornately carved Patwon ki Haveli merchant mansions.
Thar Desert — Camel Safari
Morning at leisure to explore the fort bazaar and rooftop cafes. Afternoon: drive to the Sam Sand Dunes for a sunset camel safari across the dunes. As the sun dips, folk musicians play under a blanket of stars. Optional: overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.
Bikaner — The Camel City
Drive north to Bikaner (3.5 hrs). Visit the Junagarh Fort — one of the few major Rajasthani forts never conquered. Then the extraordinary Karni Mata Temple in nearby Deshnoke, home to thousands of sacred rats — a completely one-of-a-kind experience.
Bikaner → Jaipur — Departure
Morning drive back to Jaipur (5 hrs). Lunch stop at a roadside dhaba. Drop-off at Jaipur airport or railway station for onward travel.

Visa & Entry
Most foreign nationals can apply for an India e-Visa online — apply at least 4–7 days before departure. Keep a printed and digital copy of your visa approval and passport photo page handy for arrival immigration.
Currency & Payments
The Indian Rupee (INR) is the local currency. Cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and shops in cities, but carry some cash for local markets, small vendors, and rural stops. Notify your bank of your travel dates beforehand.
Dress Code
Modest clothing is appreciated at temples, mosques, and religious sites — shoulders and knees covered. Shoes are removed before entering most places of worship, so slip-on footwear is convenient.
Health & Safety
Drink only bottled or filtered water. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies. Check with your doctor about routine vaccinations 4–6 weeks before travel.
Staying Connected
Local SIM cards or eSIMs are available at the airport with your passport. Most hotels and our private vehicles offer complimentary WiFi throughout your journey.
Tipping & Etiquette
Tipping is customary but not mandatory — around 10% for guides and drivers is appreciated for good service. A traditional greeting is placing your palms together and saying "Namaste."
