Plan Your Visit

Closed Days by Monument

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Some of India's most-visited monuments, museums, and wildlife reserves close to visitors one day a week. We already build these closures into every itinerary we plan for you — this page is here so you know what to expect, or if you're adjusting your own dates.

Closure days are set by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), state tourism departments, and forest/wildlife authorities, and can change with little notice — especially around public holidays, VIP visits, or conservation needs. We always reconfirm current timings before your trip; if you're planning independently, please verify directly with the site or your Legacy India Tours coordinator.
