Day-by-Day Itinerary
Delhi → Jaisalmer — The Golden City
Fly or overnight train from Delhi to Jaisalmer. Afternoon guided walk inside the living Jaisalmer Fort — built in 1156 AD and home to thousands of residents. Visit the ornately carved Patwon ki Haveli merchant mansions and the sunset point.
Thar Desert — Camel Safari & Camp
Morning at leisure in the fort bazaar. Late afternoon: drive to Sam Sand Dunes (45 min). Sunset camel safari into the dunes. As darkness falls, folk musicians and dancers perform by firelight. Overnight in a luxury tented desert camp.
Jaisalmer → Jodhpur — Blue City
Dawn in the desert camp — watch the sunrise over the dunes. Drive to Jodhpur (4 hrs). Afternoon at the colossal Mehrangarh Fort, 120 metres above the city. Sunset views over the labyrinth of blue-painted houses.
Jodhpur → Jaipur — Pink City
Drive to the Pink City (5 hrs). Afternoon tour of the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Evening walk through the vibrant Johari Bazaar.
Jaipur → Agra — Taj Mahal
Early departure to Agra (4 hrs). Afternoon visit to the Taj Mahal — the world's greatest monument to love — and Agra Fort (UNESCO). Evening at leisure on Agra's rooftop restaurants overlooking the Taj.
Agra — Taj at Sunrise → Departure
Pre-dawn departure for the Taj Mahal at sunrise — the most magical light of the day. Return to hotel for breakfast. Transfer to Agra or Delhi airport for departure.

Visa & Entry
Most foreign nationals can apply for an India e-Visa online — apply at least 4–7 days before departure. Keep a printed and digital copy of your visa approval and passport photo page handy for arrival immigration.
Currency & Payments
The Indian Rupee (INR) is the local currency. Cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and shops in cities, but carry some cash for local markets, small vendors, and rural stops. Notify your bank of your travel dates beforehand.
Dress Code
Modest clothing is appreciated at temples, mosques, and religious sites — shoulders and knees covered. Shoes are removed before entering most places of worship, so slip-on footwear is convenient.
Health & Safety
Drink only bottled or filtered water. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies. Check with your doctor about routine vaccinations 4–6 weeks before travel.
Staying Connected
Local SIM cards or eSIMs are available at the airport with your passport. Most hotels and our private vehicles offer complimentary WiFi throughout your journey.
Tipping & Etiquette
Tipping is customary but not mandatory — around 10% for guides and drivers is appreciated for good service. A traditional greeting is placing your palms together and saying "Namaste."
